I had to read it since the last volume was a cliff hanger and you were left not knowing what happened.

This one was not so much about Pendergast, but about Constance.

Which was a necessity since her position would change the corse of this series to a different road.

But sorry not one of the best in the series.

I supposed this concludes the mini series within the vast Pendergast series....

I wonder how it would continue...

I think I like to read another one of those creatures to appear soon.

I will still look forward to the next one. He is due to solve some more mysteries.

I think the family drama can rest for now.

大体の本が和訳されてるけどこれはまだじゃないかな？

もう２０年近く続いているシリーズでFBIが007みたいな話です。

舞台はアメリカ。

主人公はFBIのエージェントで彼が世界中を飛び回って活躍します。

でも本拠地はニューヨークで本の中でもよくマンハッタンの街並みが描写されてて

そこへいくたびにペンダーガストがいたところだ！と思ったりするの。

このシリーズは大好きなんだけどさ、なんだよこれ！

今回のはちょっと残念だったわ。

あるキャラクターの厄介払いの為に書かれた本かもしれないね。

ってことは今後もまたあのワクワクするサスペンスとミステリーが読めるのかしら？

さて、次は何を読もうかな。
